AMAR # 484 AN APPRECIATION EVENING at Aux- Wadala

“Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts.” says Alan Cohen.

We as a community decided to have an appreciation evening on the day of our recollection soon after the adoration service. On 14th July we spent our day with GOD which helped us to realize that we are called to be GIFTS not INVESTORS in our relationship with one another. As we reflected and shared Article 50 of our Constitutions, we recalled that to build a happy family we are recommended to commit ourselves to our vocation and the mission. We shared our faith journey with one another that was enriching as well as inspiring.

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well. “says Voltaire. We gathered in our community hall to appreciate and thank each other for what we are to one another. All of us had different things to share about each other, and it really helped us to understand each other better as we continue journeying together in this our AUXILIUM community. “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them,” says John F. Kennedy.
