WELCOMING DAY: The Welcoming Day was held at Maria Vihar Hostel, Nashik. A Prayer song was sung during the opening ceremony, after which a few girls offered the candle with a candle prayer ‘Chase away the darkness. Fill the world with light, be a little candle flame and shine out bright’. The animator Sr. Philomena welcomed the girls and also explained to them the purpose of being a member of Maria Vihar Hostel. The most enjoyable moment was the time when we had our meal together with the 95 girls.
INVESTITURE OF BOARDING LEADERS Maria Vihar Boarders elected their leader on 29th June the Feast of Pope Francis. The prayer song beautifully portrayed their trust in God and faithful to their duties. This was by followed by welcoming the new inmates and the Sisters. After a few dances and Sr. Florie staged a surprise item, and the animator imparted a message to the leaders.
