12 July 2018, saw Mother Mazzarello delightfully walking around our house as the children prepared the place to celebrate the great woman, Mother Mazzarello. The Salesian Co-operators, the neighbouring priests, and religious were invited to take part in our joy.
After a moment of prayer, we had a power point presentation talking about the life of St. Mary Mazzarello, explaining her life and mission and how the mission which began in a little town in Mornese is carried on in 94 countries. The girls then spoke of our beloved Mother as a revolutionary of her times and how her spirit lives on in our lives even today.
It was a beautiful moment of togetherness and fellowship as we had dinner together. Each one was given a token of Mother Mazzarello’s picture reminding them that she will bless them.
