Singing lifts up broken spirits and relaxes the mind. It soothes, nurtures and motivates.

The Singing Competition at Auxilium Convent, Pali on 7th August began at 8.15am. Students came to school with great excitement and enthusiasm and actively participated in the individual as well as group competition. In the Choral Singing Competition, the Blue House secured the first position.

The Jury consisted of two renowned personalities, Mrs. Sarita Manchanda, a Personality and Communication skills lecturer at St Andrew’s College, Bandra and Mr. Joseph Vessoaker a bandmaster at St Stanislaus High School and Canossa Convent, Mahim. The Competition concluded with some useful tips and suggestions given by Mrs. Sarita Manchanda.

Vegetable Printing Competition

Childhood is a world of miracle, magic, colour, and expression. Every child is an artist and almost all creativity comes from purposeful play. Keeping this in mind an activity –Vegetable Painting Competition was conducted for the students of pre-primary and primary to make them aware of different kinds of vegetables, their colours, and shapes.

The excitement was evident on their faces when they dipped the vegetables in the paint to imprint it on paper. The finishing product, no doubt proved that imagination and creativity go hand in hand. Kudos to the children for their participation in the competition!
