AMAR # 522 RISE TO FREEDOM AT AUX WADALA

Celebrating two notable events on 15th August is a special day- A day filled with gratitude and appreciation.  The Assumption of our Lady into heaven and the 71st anniversary of India’s independence. Both events speak of the same fact- Liberation from bondage.

These two great events were celebrated in a very grand measure at AUXILIUM WADALA. On the 14th of August, our Primary students celebrated Independence Day and the feast of Assumption. Through speech, prayer service, songs and dance the students brought out the important message of free INDIA from Plastic and illiteracy. A mesmerizing dance highlighting the oppression against women based on the UN speech given by Malala Yusufzai was performed by the students which left the audience spellbound.  We prayed for our struggling country and honored Mary our Mother through the vigil service creatively animated by Sr.Reshma Rosario.

On the 15th of August at 8 ‘o’clock we gathered at Sr. Bertha’s hall for the flag hoisting and the Independence Day celebration. The chief guest for the program was Mrs. Sangitha a member of Lions club.

The students put up a beautiful programme to show gratitude to our country in their own creative way. The beautiful power point presentation on save water was prepared by the teachers and the students, was very meaningful. So thus we realized that we Indians need to work for the good of our country hand in hand with each other.
