“ Mary is present in our lives”
On the eve of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we the sisters and girls of Anmol, Koparkhairane, honoured our mother and guide, by spending the evening in her name. We began the celebrations of the solemnity with the vigil service, beautifully animated by Sr. Joanna Lobo. The animated prayer moment set the tone for the next part of the evening celebration…….The Marian Nite.
After the supper, we gathered outside the hall with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. The sisters and girls were divided into three groups; each group consisted of one sister and three girls. The groups were invited to enter the hall by singing a Marian song. The names chosen by each group were as follows – Peace, Joy, and Fatima. Sr. Minal Bhosale had organized every detail with precision and so she conducted various games like decoding the message, fill in the blanks, puzzles etc. Along with the paper games, there were also some running games which helped the girls to participate enthusiastically. The girls played the games with a lot of interest. The house echoed with the heavenly music of their smiles and laughter.
Towards the end of the celebration, the winners were announced and prizes were distributed. We ended our Marian nite with a short message addressed to us by Sr. Joanna Lobo where she enriched us with the beautiful thought on our beloved Mother and her freedom.
It was indeed one of the very beautiful evenings with Mary, we thank Sr. Minal for organizing the evening and making a special moment.
