On 15th August 2018 on the occasion of the Independence Day, the Anmol Milan conducted at Rabale was blessed by the presence of the Salesian Co-operators Mrs. Eunice, Mrs. Julius Mr. Ramesh Kharat and Mrs. Rosaline Kharat of the ANMOL Koparkhairane unit. Mrs. Eunice brought her children along to give them an exposure of this reality.
We began the program at around 11.15 am. The program was well organized by our outreach Trs. Laksh and Vijayshree. It consisted of patriotic and action songs, speeches in English and Marathi and a fashion show portraying the diversity of our country. The Salesian co-operators assisted the children and enjoyed the program. They expressed their feeling of awe and wonder after seeing the heart throbbing performance of the children.
The Salesian co operators who had planned to spend time with these children and offer them snacks, so they distributed the snacks which they had brought for the children consisting of samosas, biscuits, and chocolates. They interacted with the children as they served them snacks; the children were delighted with the love with which they were served.
The children felt very to have the Salesian co operators present to see their programme and appreciate them for their performance. The children too thanked the co-operators for their presence amidst them and for the wonderful snacks. Overall the day was indeed a beautiful one which created a sense of patriotism in all of us.
