The boarding girls and few villagers gathered at our chapel to honor Mary our Mother and to pray for our country India.
Fr. Xavier Devdas sdb was the main celebrant on the occasion. He spoke to the gathering ‘why Mary should be honored? God in his goodness chose her to be the mother of His Son Jesus and our Mother too. She goes to heaven and is continually praying for us her children”.
A programme was conducted by Sr Vaneeta Christi and Sr Sangeeta Salve.
Dr. Prerna Vartak who is a practicing doctor at Sadhu Vasvani was the Chief Guest for the day. She encouraged the children to study well and do something great in life. she also gave stationary and sweets to each child.
In the evening a programme was conducted by Sr Mary Anthony i.e.action songs, Marian songs etc. Sr Teresa Dharmaraj, the animator of the community house advised the children saying that “all of you must have a goal in life and try to do your best to reach that goal then you will be happy in future”
Thus, we began the Marian month with enthusiasm, joy, and love. May Mary our Mother bless all of us.
