On 2nd October 2018 at Auxilium Convent School, Basement on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti the USM members in had organized a short programme in the school campus. The Chief Guest for the programme was the president of Lions Club Lonavala- Kandala, Mr. Vivek Ghanekar. Along with him the secretary Mr. Deval Parek, Treasurer Mr. Sandeep Korad, member Mrs. Uma Mehta and press reporter Mrs. Shravani Kamat was present for the programme.
The programme began with the USM style of prayer service. Then a brief information about the USM movement was given by Ms. Siddhi Yadav followed by speeches and poems recited by the members. Tr. Sangeeta gave a short speech on the life of Gandhi. The programme ended by singing Ragupati Raghav Raja Ram Song. After that, a rally was conducted by the USM members displaying the placards of values of Gandhiji and reciting slogans it was a very enriching programme.
