5th September is known as Senior Citizen Day. We, the Pushpanjali Staff and Trainees celebrated this day on 8th October 2018 at Ashakta Ashram-Dakor. At 9:00 o’clock we all went to the home for the aged. The manager of the home for the aged welcomed us and also done all arrangement for the programme. First of all, we met all the elderly people there, we had a conversation with each one of them and then after that, we took a short visit to Ashram. We had an entertainment programme for elderly people. It began with a prayer. All elderly people enjoyed our programme and gave their blessing to our trainees. We offered snacks and fruits to them as our contribution. It was a wonderful experience for our trainees to spend their valuable time for elderly people and also learned to respect their grandparents.
