On the 6th of October Pushpanjali celebrated our house feast under the patron of St. Pushpavati, (St. Teresa of the Child Jesus). We had a grand celebration of the Eucharist with the entrance dance. The Eucharist began with a beautiful introduction. Rev. Fr. Matthew Katara SDB gave an inspiring homily on the life of St. Teresa of Child Jesus and prayed for the Sisters and the children. Sr. Suvarna showed the life of St. Teresa of Child Jesus and conducted a quiz programme. After the Eucharist, we had a programme where Sr. Sangeeta conducted lively games for the children. Sr. Hilda, the animator delivered a message and distributed gifts. To conclude, we had a nourishing meal, with the children which was prepared by the Sisters.
On the following day, we had the celebration with our support staff and the ITI students. Sr. Urvashi conducted a prayer moment. After that, she had a short quiz for the support staff and the ITI students. Then Sr. Hilda thanked the support staff for their service at Pushpanjali. All shared tea and snacks for the support staff and chocolates for the ITI students. Thus with joy in our hearts, we ended the celebration.
