On 20th October 2018 at Pushpanjali-Dakor, there was a seminar held on Child Protection Policy (CPP) animated by Sr. Elphina Rodrigues for the ITI, VEP and NCP teachers, Society’s worker as well as for the Educating Committee. The Seminar began with prayer and game to introduce oneself, The members were divided into four groups and given a particular topic related to CPP, each group had two question related to Child Protection Policy. Thereafter a member of each group had to explain their answer. With the help of a video, Sr. Elphina explained about the introduction of CPP in India, FMA Child Protection Policy, Needs of CPP, Roles of Sisters in CPP, Types of Abuses (Physical, Sexual and Emotional) done to a child. She enlightened those gathered about the ways on how to prevent Child harassment and also gave information regarding child helpline.
