On 6th November in Maria Kripa Madanthyar we had the Diwali Celebration with our Hostel Girls. In the evening at 4.30 p.m. games were conducted by Sr. Mary Lobo and they had an enjoyable time. Then at 7.00 p.m., we had the prayer moment conducted by Sr. Elizabeth Augustine. We started the prayer moment by invoking the light of Christ to be in our midst. God has chosen us to be the Light of the world and each one is called to be a light to all, especially those who are in darkness. We praise and thank God for this day, the day in which we rejoice with our Hindu brethren.
Dear Lord, you have Illumined our lives with the greatest of lights and we thank you for your presence in our life. Then we wished each other “Happy Diwali” and had a festal meal together.
