On the 14th of November 2018 from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, there was great rejoicing at Ashish Bhavan, Kune. Many young Catholic girls from Std. V to Std. XII was present to spend time with Jesus. The theme for the day was: Rejoice in the Lord.
Sr. Vanita Christi and Sr. Mary Anthony welcomed all of them with joy and animated the day’s programme. This programme was the first of its kind and the atmosphere was of joy, enthusiasm, expectation, and curiosity.
There were video clippings, singing, activities, and sessions. The Holy Eucharist was the centre of the day and the girls felt the need to attend the Sacrament of Confession.
Fr. Xavier Devdas SJ celebrated the Eucharist and conveyed the following message “As God’s children we must be always happy, and do His will. His will is that we do everything happily for him, he is close to those who love, serve, care, and fulfill their responsibilities with joy.” Fr.also administered the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The young girls were glad to spend half a day in company with Jesus.
