On 30th October 2018, Auxilium Convent Past Pupils Association Wadala organized Dandiya Dhamaal for girls and women from 5.30 pm to 9.00pm in the Auxilium quadrangle. It was an evening that was very extraordinary as we saw the participants decked with colorful attire entering the campus with much joy, fun, and enthusiasm.
The participants were 338 altogether who danced to the tune of dandiya raas and garbha. There were many past pupils too who came to celebrate this day. At the end of the show, prizes were awarded separately for the Juniors and Seniors. They were judged for best attire, jewellery, best dancer and Auxilium Queen. There was the canteen being put up by the Past Pupils unit that served them to their heart’s content. We thank Sr. Meena D’Silva and the community for their wholehearted support and collaboration, all the past pupils who reached out in various ways in order to make this day a grand success.
