AMAR # 628 Community Gratitude Day at Bableshwar

On 28th November we celebrated our Community Gratitude day on the theme: “Spread Peace of Christ”. PEACE was spelt out as Patience, Encouragement, Appreciation, Compassion, and Enthusiasm, and these virtues were the practice for five days, with the intentions for helpers, ADMA, women, children, Parish priests, and parishioners. Each day was made special by praying for the various groups. We could truly feel God’s divine presence as we kept giving peace to each other.

On the eve, we had a beautiful and meaningful vigil service prepared by Sr. Pushpa Parmar, during which we thanked God by lighting the candle of peace which symbolized Christ our Peace. We appreciated each other by giving a meaningful gesture – a rose a symbol of love and a picture of a dove as a symbol of peace. Later Sr. Catherine Pereira, the animator who had visited the Holy Land during the past months, shared with the community the spiritual gifts of Jerusalem which deepened within us feel us with peace of Christ.

In the morning we had a beautiful prayer moment and Eucharistic celebration thanking God Almighty for blessing us with his peace. In the afternoon we shared delicious agape prepared by Sr. Stella Rebeiro. At the end of the day as a community, we watched an educational Movie called “Ah Boy”.

We thank God for our community and the peace which reigns among us.
