On the 31st of Jan 2019, we celebrated the feast of St John Bosco our Father and Founder along with some of the villagers of Kune. The day began with the Holy Eucharist in the morning at 7 am celebrated by the parish priest Fr Peter Rodrigues. During his homily he said “Don Bosco had a dream and to fulfill this dream he asked Jesus to help him, so that he could help the poor of the society, he humbled himself to be great in the eyes of Jesus, and in turn God made him a great model of holiness for all ages.”
On this festive day, we served breakfast and distributed sweets. In honour of the Saint of youngsters, games were organised for the children. The day was very enjoyable for all of us.
