The birth anniversary of Lord Baden Powell, the Founder of World Scouting Movement was celebrated by the Girl Guide captains and students of Auxilium School, Lonavla on 22nd February 2019.
During the morning assembly, an all-prayer meeting was animated. The frame of Baden Powell was decorated and garlanded. Readings from various religious scriptures were read and prayers were recited. One of the students explained in brief the life teachings of Baden Powell. In the afternoon the Girl Guide students had a poster making and gadget making competition.
The day was fruitfully put to use by the Girl Guides.
