AMAR # 753 Innovative Science Exhibition at Aux-Wadala

Education does not simply mean the ability to read and write. It is a wide term used to describe the complete process of development. Education in today’s scenario aims at holistic development of the children. The exhibition is the medium of wholesome development of the students in schools. Schools organize such exhibition to enhance the student’s knowledge and making learning a fun experience.

Keeping in view of the above, the Primary section of Auxilium Convent High School Wadala organized an exhibition on Water.

The exhibition was inaugurated by our Manager Rev. Sr. Meena D’Silva on 26th February 2019 at 8:30 a.m. The judges were Mrs. Anita Naidu -DPY Headteacher Mrs. Helen Selvaraj – SIWS college professor Mrs. Rakkini Savarinayagalm. The judges and the parents were welcomed by Tr. Corina.

The exhibition began with a dance on the conservation of water by the students of Std. III A. Then the judges began to judge the exhibits. The children very confidently explained their models to the judges. Now and then the children recited poems and sang songs on the theme -Water.

Parents applauded the efforts of the school in organizing this exhibition. The neighboring schools; St. Joseph High School, SIWS School, Little Angels School came along with a few students to view the exhibition. They too praised the teachers, parents, and students for the effort put in for preparing the meaningful projects. There was a huge parent turn out on both days. It was a learning experience for all of us.
