Thanks is an acknowledgment of the blessings big and small received from God. So with grateful hearts, acknowledging the blessings of God, we echoed our thanks to the Almighty for our very community, Sacred Heart Training Centre, Nashik.
On February 23rd, 2019, we celebrated our Community Gratitude Day. After eight days of prayer, sacrifice and preparation, we reflected on the Apostolic Exhortation ‘Gaudete et Exsultate’ of Pope Francis. We prayed for each Sister, novice, and helper and also offered our prayers for our Province and neighbouring Salesian communities. Everything was centered on the theme ‘Journey towards Holiness’. On the eve of Gratitude Day, we had a vigil service during which we appreciated the presence of each sister. We received a pot of appreciation, wherein each one wrote the traits of holiness which they saw in us. We then enjoyed a time of togetherness with recreation and a sumptuous meal.
May God bless our Community and may the spirit of our origins continue to live on in our community where Sisters were filled with holy joy and cheerfulness, no one thought or spoke about anything but of God and His love.
