On the 3rd of March 2019, we at St. Joseph Training Centre, Lonavla celebrated the Oratory Day. Nearly 32 children were present for the celebration along with their parents and siblings. The children were divided according to their age. Those of Std. I to IV enjoyed games like bursting the balloons, balancing the book and one-legged race. For the bigger children from Std. V to Std. VII participated in games such as paper walk, balloon bursting, and three-legged race.
All the children took part in the games enthusiastically. After the games, an inter prayer moment was conducted for the children and for all those present. In her message Sr. Cecilia Crasta, the animator told that children are the precious gift of God and they are loved much by God.
This was followed by offering each child a small gift. Children on their turn performed a number of dances. The educators, the parents were delighted to see the children’s performance.
The day concluded by bidding thanks to all those who contributed to making this day a memorable one.
