‘Day with God’ was kept up on Saturday 16th March 2019 with the theme “Is God no where? Or is God now here?” The day began by leading the children into a prayerful mood after which the movie “Evans Almighty” was screened in every class, giving out the message that in order to change the world, we need to do acts of random kindness to all whom we meet; God gives opportunities and we need to make the best use of what is given to us when we have the time and talent to do so. After the movie, all the students gathered in the quadrangle for the next event.
A panel consisting of two priests and two teachers were all set to answer the queries of the children regarding God and His existence. The panel did a wonderful job of clarifying the students’ varied doubts which may be no one had answered earlier. This was followed by a ‘Praise and worship’ session which had everyone singing, dancing and praising God for His infinite goodness, compassionate love and abounding mercy which surrounds us every moment. The day ended with a thanksgiving prayer to God Almighty, asking Him to be with us and guide us every moment of our existence.
