You are precious… Go and make a difference
Leaders are not born, they grow from the experience. What better time to begin this learning experience than from one’s school day itself?
The Student Council of Auxilium High School, Caranzalem for the academic year 2019-2020 was invested into office on 19th June 2019.
Beginning with a meaningful prayer service, the leaders were led to understand that each of them is precious and are called to make a difference through their lives, be it in school, back at home or in the society. Each of them was given a ‘Pearl’ as a reminder of this face. The Manager, Sr. Joanita Antao and Headmistress, Sr. Celine Pinto invested the leaders into their specific roles by vesting them with scarves. We were happy to have with us the parents of the main leaders who came to witness the investiture ceremony.
Sr. Joanita Antao gave the leaders a meaningful and encouraging message, to boost their spirits to put their best foot forward in all the school activities, leading through example and led by the grace of God at all times.
In providing opportunities for the young in being leaders in their own special groups, we thus enable them to form values to become good and committed leaders of the future.
