The pearl of great price – our dear Mother and Foundress, St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello was fondly commemorated and celebrated on 16 July 2019 in Auxilium School as well as in the Laura Vicuna Niwas community. “Let God be your whole strength” was the theme for the day which was beautifully highlighted through an opera packed with melodious strains, youthful dances and heart touching scenes from the life of Mother Mazzarello in the school. Smiley balls were distributed to the students of the school, simply as a reminder to be cheerful just as Mary Mazzarello would always recommend her Sisters and girls to be. 
In the evening, the students of the Auxilium Community College staged a short but enlightening programme which literally took us back in history to the times of Mother Mazzarello’s house of the love of God in Mornese. This was followed by an agape meal together with all the priests and religious of the neighbouring houses. Chocolates and medals of St. Mary Mazzarello were distributed to everyone by Sr. Teresa Plathara, the animator. The feast day of our beloved Mother thus ended on a sweet and cheerful note.
