21st September 2019 will be long remembered by the ADMA group of Benaulim Unit.
On this day, together with some Salesian Co-operators, they organized a Marian programme for 13 schools from the vicinity and city. 10 students from each school accompanied by their teachers participated. The programme started at 9 am in Auxilium Convent High School, Benaulim, with the welcome address given by Rachael Fernandes, the Co-ordinator of the ADMA Unit. Sr. Agatha Dias – Animator, Sr. Elizabeth Coelho – Principal, and Fr. Anisio Mota – Delegate of the Salesian Family were the Special Invitees. Fr. Marvin Vaz – Spiritual Animator of Odxel Unit and Enid Varela – Province Secretary of ADMA did a great job in conducting various interesting Marian games for the children; to name a few: Be an Angel, Jumble Words, Step by Step, Marian Pilgrimage, Scripture with Mary, Marian Scramble; and the one which all enjoyed the most was the Outdoor Pilgrimage. The students enjoyed and got to know and love Mamma Mary more. They wanted more games. The First Prize Winner was St. Anthony’s High School – Majorda; Second Prize went to St. Jude’s High School – Betalbatim, and 3rd Prize to Auxilium High School – Benaulim.
The ADMA members were pleased with the happy outcome of this unique event, thanks to a good team spirit. Few teachers of our school in Benaulim are now eager to join the ADMA!
