We the FMA Gujarat Region had organized two days vocation camp for the girls from 21st – 22nd September at Pushpanjali Dakor. The theme for the vocation camp was “Holiness for you too.” There were 18 girls who participated in this camp from different places. We began our camp by invoking God’s blessings and short prayer service prepared by Sr. Monika. They were divided into three groups. The sessions were very well organized by the resource people. There were different games, action songs, and animated recreation. The Movie “Nil Battery Sanata” was shown to them on the 1st day of the camp which also helped them to think about their aim for their lives. It was a very inspiring movie which encouraged them to think and make the right choice for their life. We also had the Eucharistic celebration which was celebrated by Fr. Ashwin. His homily too was enriched the girls.
There was sharing in the groups on the sessions which were taken by the resource people. They came up with very good reflections about temporary happiness and everlasting happiness. Temporary happiness will have for a short while but everlasting happiness will remain with us always. Fr. Ashwin spoke about the Salesian Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in which he mentioned the different qualities of the FMA’S. It was a very good experience for each one of us.
