Auxilium Vikas Kendra Khedpa, celebrated Girl child day and Teachers’ Day on 14th September 2019 at Jaminveri Hall. Jaminveri is one of the villages for the tuition classes. Altogether there were 125 girls and 8 teachers for the programme. We began our programme with prayer guided by Sr. Lorina Bandya followed by the speech of Sr. SunandaThombe. Sr. Sunanda explained to them the importance of a Girl Child and also of teachers in the society and by encouraging them to dream big and dream true for life and to stand on their feet.
The Jaminveri village girls put up a welcome song followed by 2 dances done by Chaphepada and Belpada. The postulants conducted two games for girls and a game of musical chairs for the teachers. We also gave them the time to dance they enjoyed dancing together with the girls. As a mark of our appreciation, we gave the teachers a token of love. Each child received snacks and the winners received prizes. The teachers and the children were delighted to celebrate this day with the Sisters.
