On 24th May 2022, the Institute of Daughters of Mary Help of Christians celebrated three milestones of its foundation: 150 years of the foundation of our Institute, 100 years of the FMA presence in India and 40 years of the existence of the Bombay Province. With great joy and gladness, in this centenary year of the fma presence in India, our six Novices made their first religious profession together with the seven novices of the Salesians. The religious function was held at Don Bosco parish. They were warmly welcomed into our great Salesian Family. Their first “Yes” expressed their gratitude to our Beloved Mother, Mary Help of Christians. Indeed it was a grace filled day in their life when they shared their joy and gladness with their parents and relatives. Thanks be to God and to our Blessed Mother for this special grace of belonging to this Institute and witnessing Christ’s love, particularly to young people.
