AMAR#1648 Beginning Anew – Auxilium Caranzalem

With much enthusiasm we, at Auxilium – Caranzalem, began a new scholastic year and joyfully welcomed the children to school on the 6th of June ’22. Coming after the ‘Pandemic Break’, was really exciting for both teachers and students alike. All were happy to see each other and enter into their classrooms. We began the day with a fervent prayer service imploring God’s abundant blessings on the new academic year. The children were then warmly welcomed back to a new year of learning.

Since the 5th of June is the World Environment Day, a few students of the eco club were taken to a Waste sorting – center. They were accompanied by Tr. Guilhermina and Sr. Melissa D’Souza. They saw how garbage is segregated and were given a short talk on the importance of segregation. We too carried along with us segregated waste like tetra packs, paper, cardboard, hard plastic, etc. It was an enriching and educative experience.

The inaugural Mass was celebrated on the 17th by the assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Joephill Dias. In his homily he urged us to be the best we can, to compete with ourselves and make good use of all the opportunities that come our way.
