Auxilium Convent School and Community – Pali Hill had our Marian Month from 1 September to 30 September with the theme, “MARY WALKS WITH US ON OUR JOURNEY”. The statue of Mother Mary was brought to the hall in procession by the sisters and students, carrying flowers petals to welcome Mother Mary in our midst. Sr.Caroline Fernandes did the honour of garlanding Mother Mary. During this entire month morning assembly was animated creatively by KG to std 10th students, teachers, and support staff with the particular theme that was allotted to them. The class that animated daily honored Mother Mary with prayer service, dance, skit and hymns. Each class also brought love offerings each day, which will be distributed to needy people. The sisters of the community began with inaugural prayer service for the Marian month.
On 8 September, we celebrated the birthday of Mother Mary and the Girl child day. Students of Std 9 conducted the assembly which comprised of prayer service, skit and dance that highlighted the importance of girl children and how we need to respect them. Sisters of the Community honored our blessed Mother by having Marian games on Saturdays, praying the rosary with various intentions in different languages, chanting the hymns to Mother Mary in more fervent manner. We really felt Mother Mary walking with us on our journey throughout this Month. Thus on 30th September we concluded the beautiful Month of Mary. “Thank you, Mother Mary for walking with on our journey”.
