On 19 November 2017, CRI for young juniors was held in Mary Immaculate School Panjim.The CRI President Fr. Paul Alvares, asked Sr. Agatha if we could organise the one day annual seminar for junior religious in Goa since we are good in dealing with the youngsters. We took up the challenge and organised the programme asking Fr. Bernadino Almeida to speak to the juniors on “The relevance of religious today”.

On 18th November we had the Children’s Day celebration where the children came to our campus with a lot of enthusiasm. The boarders of Laura Vicuna Niwas celebrated Children’s Day and the 140th anniversary of missionary expedition on 14th Nov. Through the power point presentation the Sisters animated prayer moment and a quiz on the missionary Sisters. A missionary corner was created to commemorate the event. Dr. Ranzelle Fernandes, a registrar in gynaecology and obstetrics gave a session to the NIOS girls and the college girls of Ruia College,this morning. She spoke about women’s hygiene and cleanliness. She also enlightened the girls about depression, anxiety and other problems which teens suffer from especially peer pressure. The session lasted for about an hour.
