Celebrating the Marian Month and Independence Day with the tiny tots!

Eusebia Pre-Primary School anticipated the celebration of Independence Day to 14th August 2017. It was also a propitious moment to begin the Marian Month in the Kindergarten. The decorated statue of our Blessed Mother in Indian attire made the children amazed and wonderstruck. Their eyes were fixed on Mother Mary. The entire school gathered in the Nursery Hall for a programme. Sr. Sandra Fernandes spoke about Our Blessed Mother to them, telling them that as we all have a mother at home, so also we have a heavenly Mother’ who cares for her children and listen to our prayers. The children then sang a hymn in Hindi to Our Blessed Mother.Sr. Smitha Gonsalves then spoke to the tiny tots about the great event of the Independence of our beloved country India and the importance of the National Flag. The children did a few drill exercises and sang rhymes to celebrate our Nation. They then repeated the words of the Pledge and sang the National Anthem. Sr. Wilma De Souza, the animator, said a few words to the kids and made them repeat after her- I love my country. God bless our country India. Jai Hind. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. The children were excited and joyfully responded with full gusto.  Sweets were then distributed to the children in honour of the double festivity.
