Christmas is a time of sharing and celebrating. Here in our community at Shirva the children had a Christmas celebration. There were carols singing, dances and the like. In short there was music in our hearts and on our lips. The little ones were delighted to receive gifts from Sister and each of them unwrapped and saw surprises which brought a smile on their lips.
Later during the day, the tuition children who were 35 of them, were also a part of the Christmas celebration. To start with there was a prayer service and caroling. Along with a gift and sweets they also received the Christmas message. They faces gleamed with joy as they marched home with their bags.
One can’t stop sharing the joy one has at Christmas, Sr. Hilda,Sr. Sajan along with the boarders joined the parishioner ,Mr. Julian Rodrigues and family as they all visited the sick and the elderly of the parish. The day came to close by sharing a fellowship meal which was served by the Rodrigues family.
