GRATITUDE DAY AT MADANTHYAR

GRATITUDE DAY AT MADANTHYAR

On 19th of December we the Sisters of Maria Kripa Madanthyar, celebrated the Gratitude day. Our life is God’s gift to us and what we make of our life is our gift to God. Living together is a daily celebration. Gratitude is a rare flower that blooms in the hearts of those who live in communion with God and with one another. Gratitude day is a day to render thanks to God and to implore countless blessing upon one another. The theme of our gratitude was “Come home to the truth of yourself.”
Come home means knowing ourselves. When we get to know ourselves, we get to know the world. We start to see other people as our brothers and sisters. Knowing ourselves is the greatest weapon. Its power that lies in our strength and the confidence gained when you truly, know us.

During this week through different practices like alert & vigilant, peace, hope, humility, joy, and love, we tried our best to know ourselves in a better way. During the day sisters animated the different prayer moments from morning till evening. In the evening the hostilities express the sentiments of gratitude to the sister’s thorough short programme.

At the end the girls preformed skit on human dignity which conveys the message of Christmas and then they wished sisters by singing the Christmas carol.
