CONVOCATION DAY at Auxtech Education Centre, Pali Bandra

Auxilium Pali Bandra

(Sr. Rita Mascarenhas) Auxtech Education Centre, following its objectives- “Empowerment of the needy youth through various Vocational Courses” began on 13th January, 2013 and has successfully completed a year on 13th January, 2014 with 113 students passing out with varieties of skilled training acquiring a capability to work in suitable firms.  24th January 2014 was a very specific and memorable day for the 1st and the 2nd batch of total 72 students who did short term and long term courses in Computers under SPC and received their certificates.   Sr. Rita Mascarenhas in her introductory talk congratulated the students of Std. 10th who were the 1st batch for Computer training and have been a great support of Auxtech Education Centre; they indeed have played an important role in making this Centre known.  The students of the 2nd batch were the domestic workers; girls and boys who were so enthused and joyous as they paid money from their own earnings to receive the training and now hold a much valued certificate that gives them the assurance of a better occupation.  It feels proud to say that some of them have already begun working with a good amount of remuneration.  They feel happy and contented to be independent.  Today, Auxtech has its own brand in the locality and carries out numerous courses like Cooking and Baking, Computer, LAMASA, Beautician and Tailoring, Spoken English etc.  This indeed is an achievement as we believe “With God all things are possible”.  Ms. Rehmat one of the students of the Computer section took the opportunity to thank the Sisters for the kind of work that is carried out by Auxtech in shaping the future of the middle class and the less fortunate ones.  At the end of the function the students met Sr. Priscilla and Sr.Rita and expressed their gratitude for all that they have done and been to them throughout their training period.

  1. All praise and glory to God for the first batch of students who concluded the course and received certificates from Auxtech – Pali Hill. May God bless them with good jobs to earn their livelihood.
Congrats Sr. Rita for the excellent job of giving new life to the Community College that earlier existed in that building at Pali.
