On 2nd September 2017, from 8:30 am to 12.30 pm, the catechists of St.Joseph Church, Ghorpadi, Pune had a ‘Day with God’ for the students of Pre-Communion and Holy Communion students. Sr. Sunanda Thombe FMA welcomed the 55 pupils and gave an introduction about this special day. 
The theme was ‘Walking with Jesus’ and Sr. Sunanda thought the kids a song based on the theme which they enjoyed to the full. Children got to know each other through the Ice-Breakers and they were placed in four groups according to the respective symbols. The day was well organized under the leadership of Sr. Sunanda and Sr. Sandra Fernandes. It was interspersed with inspirational videos, talks, action songs and the like. 
The coordinator Ms. Roma, Tr. Evelyn, Sr. Smitha and Sr. Shilpa too were of great help. The day came to a close as the students experienced Jesus a little more in their lives.
