We have a monthly programme for children, known as Maria Bhavan Milan, thus on 3, September 2017, the children of the vicinity were invited to this programme, and 33 children took part in the same.We had a moment of prayer, they sat in a circle and a universal prayer song was played inviting them to keep going ahead in life even if no one supports you. 
The posters on the girl child that were put up were self-explanatory, we explained the reason for their coming together and began by showing them two videos one on ‘Meena’ and how we should come together to fight against people who harm us and ‘Laali’ a film on the rejection of the girl children, and how her brother saves her. The children were very attentive to pick messages. 
Sr. Catherine Pereira then discussed the videos and the issue of the girl child. The children took an active part in the discussion and promised to help the girl child. We then honoured the girl child by giving them a little token and then a little snack. They went home becoming aware of the present scenario and a promise in their hearts to help the girl child.
