Gratitude Day in Aux – Lonavala

Words of gratitude rent the air on 17^th November as the school observed Gratitude day. The day began with the staff treating the sisters to a delicious breakfast. Then followed a variety entertainment programme felicitating the sisters of the community. A dhol tasha and lezim performance escorted the sisters of the community led by Sr. Josephine Fernandes and Sr. Sheela Furtado. The sisters were welcomed into the school basement hall with the traditional aarti. An interfaith prayer service on the theme of gratitude was conducted by the students. Dance, skits and songs were staged by children from K.G to College. Sr. Josephine and Sr. Sheela addressed the gathering, expressing their gratitude and appreciation. The sisters led by Sr. Josephine gifted pouches to the students and a printer to the staff. The sisters were then treated to a lunch by the staff. In the post lunch time, a movie was screened for everyone to view.
