Marian Night in Shirva!

We began our Marian Month On 15^th July 2017. The children of our boarding decorated our Lady’s statues in 3 groups: Mother Mazzarello, Don Bosco, and Laura Vicuna. We began with the Rosary and it was animated by the children. All through the month we had conducted Marian competitions viz. drawing, singing, dancing, skit and decorating Our Lady’s statue each week. While doing all these activities children put their heart and mind in it, and showed their love and devotion to the heavenly Queen. During the Marian month the children were very much devoted towards our Lady and prayed well. We had our closing Marian night, on 22^nd August. We had the candle- light Rosary, walked in a procession and prayed for many intentions. This was followed by the Marian games. All contributed and did their best to win, by active participation. At the end prizes were distributed and one could see the delight on their face. The day came to a close with a delicious meal.
