Independence Day programme in 5 project schools of A’nagar!
On 15th August, 2017, we celebrated our 71st Independence Day in our 5 project schools, viz. Savedi, Nagapur, Renukanagar and Vadgoan Gupta Schools. Officers from the Crompton and Greaves company attended the gathering in all our schools. The children performed dances, presented speeches and songs. It was the first time that such a programme was held. The speeches focused on making the children aware of their responsibilities and taking their studies seriously; a golden opportunity to turn their silver into gold. After the programme, we had a tree plantation drive. Each of the schools were given 5 plants each to plant in their surrounding locality.
Nagapur school parents’ meet
On 26thAugust, 2017, we had our first parents meet in Nagapur school as we had planned. Though all the parents were not present yet the meet was held wherein we upgraded them regarding their child’s performance and how they should send their children regularly to the class. The parents were admonished to take full interest in their studies. We also told them informed them about the extra -curricular activities which takes place on Saturdays. The parents were very happy about it. And they promised that they would send their children regularly. We took this opportunity to show them some video clipping on the girl child making them aware of their situation in the society and in our world at large.
