Teachers’ Day celebration at Caranzalem!

‘Footsteps walking with me’ was the theme that ran through this special day as the students left no stone unturned to show their appreciation for their teachers. The day began with the most beautiful prayer of all: The Eucharist, which was celebrated by Fr. Noel SFX on the theme of the day. It was a beautiful experience for the teachers as well as students as he told them the importance of educating children in the right way. After Mass, the teachers were offered snacks and were led to the hall for a programme prepared by the students. The students displayed an excellent performance as they put up a skit cum musical which included song, dances and mime. Through the skit, the students depicted an inspiring message of how important it is to have a teacher who is patient, understanding and brings out the best in a child. The teachers were invited to share in a sumptuous meal. In the afternoon, the students of the NIOS presented a programme for their teachers. They began with a prayer service during which they thanked God for their teachers and also implored God’s blessings upon them. They expressed their gratitude through dances and a humorous skit. The day came to a close with feelings of satisfaction and joy.
