Anmol is an NGO that works with girls in difficult circumstances; it has Education Support Programmes in 10 outreach centres in 6 different areas. Every year Anmol conducts a mega event to celebrate the precious life of a girl child. The Sisters and staff look forward to this day with great enthusiasm. A novel creative idea was executed in the tableau competition held class-wise. Each division from Std. V to Std. IX, along with their class teacher, planned the tableaus. Different themes like culture, unity in diversity, festivals, ecology, urban and rural settlements, and customs were depicted creatively by the students. Constitution Day was observed on 26th November. In the year 1949, the newly framed constitution was adopted after three years of painstaking efforts on the part of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. B.R Ambedkar, and the constituent assembly. ‘Apoorva Vigynan Melawa’, the Science Exhibition was conducted in our school on 22nd November. The name of this year’s exhibition as proposed by the Education Department brought together our budding scientists from Std. I to Std. X. Most of the projects were working models and were prepared and exhibited in the school’s basement hall. Agriculture technology, energy and water conservation, and environment were some of the themes of these projects.
INS Shivaji, Lonavla celebrated its 75th Foundation Day on 16th November 2019. INS invited schools of Lonavla including Auxilium Convent High School to participate in a Drawing Competition. Sixteen students from our school took part in the competition. The topic was Shivaji Maharaj. The participant could use their creativity to highlight any aspect of the life of the great Maratha king. The Times of India organized a ‘Fundamental Quiz’ on 15th November at Pune. Thirteen students took part in the quiz and they were accompanied by 2 teachers. There were students from various schools who took part in the quiz and some who formed the cheering teams. There was a preliminary round conducted by the Quiz Master Mr. Runal Dahiwade. Those who qualified in the preliminary round reached the final round.
The 4th of November was a day that some of the pupils and past pupils looked forward to. It was a day of games, dance, and fun, the ‘Diwali Dhamaka’. The Fancy Dress Competition of Pre-Primary was held on 27th November 2019 at 9.00 a.m. The judges were Mrs. Sangeeta Pandey and Miss Diana D’Souza. There was a large number of participants. Children were very energetic, confident, creative and enthusiastic. The parents too were very happy to see their children performing and were also very encouraging. Overall the programme was a learning experience for the children.

On the 24th of November from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm Bal Mela was organised at Aashish Bhavan, Kune. It was organised for the village children as well as for the boarders. Sr. Moksha Anthonappa, the SDO of the Province was present along with her team. Fr. Blany Pinto, the rector of Don Bosco, Lonavla was the Chief Guest for the day.
