On the 23rd of December, the students of the Interact Club undertook a journey towards the sick and bedridden in the locality of the school, in an attempt to bring Christmas cheer to their broken lives. We visited two families, one of Mr. Salvador, who is bedridden, being unable to move his lower body at all, and another, was the grandmother of our past pupil, Master Simon, who is bedridden.
The families were touched with the initiative of the students, who not only sang Christmas carols for them, but also presented them with a few consumables and a monetary gift, gathered from their own efforts.
This was followed by the students conducting a beach cleanliness drive in the same locality, aimed at promoting a sense of cleanliness in the society.
The students are growing in their sense of responsibility towards the society, and are encouraged to come up with their own ideas for activities that they can think are within their capacity, to start small towards becoming protagonists of responsible youth for the country.
