AMAR # 1160 'Though Poor Enriched Many' Feast of Bl. Eusebia at Mundhwa!

We at Eusebia Welfare Center Mundhwa joyfully celebrated the feast of our house patroness Bl. Eusebia Palomino on February 15, 2020. In the morning Sr. Santana Pereira, animator of our Community-led us into meaningful Prayer reflecting on her saintly life. Sr. Eusebia was imbued with God as she could contemplate God even when she looked at an olive or any other tree. Her love for God was so deep that it permeated her entire being which everyone perceived it and came to her for discernment and advice.

At mid-noon, our FMA and SDB from Koregaon joined in our celebrations. Srs. Jean Colas and Santana led the gathering into prayer through PowerPoint Presentation making those present to feel challenged to commit themselves wholeheartedly in loving God and reaching God’s love unto others. Sr. Jaya Rodrigues conducted a lively game where each had to read and express one’s thoughts on the inscribed thought of Bl. Eusebia.

Fr. Ivan De Souza said the grace before meals thanking God for having brought us together to celebrate Bl. Eusebia. Our only purpose of being consecrated is to become saints and that the food we receive strengthens us to accomplish God’s work. Each received a memento and a recycled paper bag. Sr. Superior thanked Fr. Ivan, Sr. Gracy Thomas and their communities for joining us in our celebration looking forward to another opportunity of being together, namely, the feast of Maria Mazzarello.
