The community of Maria Kripa Girls Centre commenced the Marian Month on 8th August 2020. The inaugural prayer service was prepared by Sr. Veronica Fernandes. The service commenced at 6. 15 pm and during the service Sr. Elizabeth Augustine and Sr. Jacintha Pinto offered flowers to Our Lady. The flowers were a symbol of entrusting ourselves and the young girls in the care of Mary. Due to this pandemic, the young girls are not present with us now but are in their own homes. We supported them and their families with our prayers. Our animator, Sr. Prema Tauro lighted the candle asking Mary to bring healing to this world and renew the face of the earth.
After the prayer service, the recreation was animated in a creative way. we had a short game which made us to remember Mary as a young girl and we shared happy moments with each other. May Mary bless and be with us all.
