On February 11th and February 12, we had a team from Child Help Line who gave an informative session to the students of Std IX and X. Jessica Periera was the main speaker. With the help of real incidents, she along with her team members touched on different issues related to children. They spoke about Child Rights, different kinds of abuse, and also how students have to grow up with respect for their parents and teachers. It was an interactive session and the students greatly benefitted from it.
On the 16th of February, we had a talk on Diabetes for the students of Std IX and X. Dr. Asif Ali, who is our own past pupil, spoke to the students and teachers on Diabetes Level 1 and Level 2. It was a very informative session. The causes, symptoms, and some remedies were explained. He told the students that they ought to take care of their parents and direct them to a physician if they notice symptoms of diabetes. He also spoke about a well-balanced diet and the necessity of exercise. Besides all this, he encouraged the students to study well and always be grateful to their teacher. He owed his success in life to the school and his beloved teachers. After his input session, Dr. Asif had an interactive moment with the students and teachers and awarded those who answered his questions with a bar of chocolate.
