‘It all began with Mary’ the statement made by our father and founder Don Bosco has become the source and inspiration to his daughters as we too believe and experience Mary’s motherly goodness and loving presence in our life as well as in the mission.
The celebration of Marian month at Auxilium, Wadala was rich with the variety of activities and among them, one of the initiatives was the pilgrimage to Our Lady’s shrines. Therefore, with much joy and fervor on 11 September 2021 we as community visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Velankani at Uttan. We also visited the St. Andrew’s church and the chapel of St. Anthony of Padua. We also spent time with our Sisters at the community of Uttan. We thanked them for their warm hospitality wherein we took opportunity to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of our dear Sr. Agnes too. We had lovely time as we visited the family of Novice Ujjwala Nato who offered us delicious food that was prepared with much love. We animated Marian games with the children. It was indeed a day filled with Marian fervour.
