On 19 March 2022, we, at Eusebia Welfare Centre, had twin celebrations, namely, solemnity of St. Joseph and the second anniversary of Eusebia Prayer Group of its beginning. The women’s prayer group prepared itself spiritually with the online novena in honour of St. Joseph. The members daily spent time reflecting on his virtuous life, guided by Sr. Santana Pereira, their spiritual animator.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Luis Heredia, the parish priest of Ghorpuri Church. The liturgy was well animated by the prayer group and Ms. Sara D’Souza added melody and glory to the celebration through the accompaniment of music.
After Mass, we had a get together sharing snacks and soft drinks sponsored by the prayer group. We, together with the fifteen parishioners of our locality congratulated the five faithful women as they cut the cake. They meet every Saturday for praise and adoration interceding for the needs of the world. We praise God for their love for God and neighbour and implore God’s blessings upon them and on the whole world.
