We, the Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala, celebrated the Van Mahotsav Day on 1st July 2022. Due to heavy rain school had declared as a holiday. In spite of this inconveniences, few of our students took the challenge to be part of this celebration. It was a great joy to see our Eco- Club students in the midst of this heavy downpour. It proved their interest and love for green School and green India.
The inspiring speech was delivered by Ms. Kia D’souza the student of std VIII A. She highlighted the importance and the purpose of planting trees and urged every student and citizen of our country to take up the challenge to plant a sapling and protect our Environment. She continued to say that planting trees helps to spread awareness among people about the harm caused by felling down of trees.
our Principal Rev. Sr. Gloria Ferrao and Our Manager Rev. Sr. Magdeline Sequeira encouraged the students by their presence and participated in the tree planting ceremony.
Sr. Gloria thanked the students who made it possible to come to school to celebrate Van Mahotsav Day .
