An orientation program for Teachers of Auxilium Convent School, Ahmednagar was organized on 13th of June 2022. The program began with a short prayer followed by a brief introduction of guest speaker for the day Fr. Ajay Demonte. Father began the session with an icebreaker activity wherein the Teachers were asked to pair up with Teacher with whom they have had less interaction in the past and then they were given few Get to Know You questions because of which a nice rapo was built amongst the teachers. Thereafter, Fr. explained as in why the topic of the day was called “Keepers of the Flame”.
According to Fr. Ajay the Teachers were addressed as the Keepers and the Students were called the Flame. Furthermore, Fr. also explained the importance of small actions of the teacher can make a huge difference in molding the lives of the students. Later on four groups were made based on the flavors of candies and some wonderful team building games were held for the teachers. Lastly a wonderful activity was held which helped everyone get connected to each other wherein a thread was given to the first person who was then asked to pass it to the next person whom they expressed their gratitude to which resulted in a beautiful web like structure. Teachers immensely enjoyed the entire session and were geared up for the New Academic Year. The session was concluded by felicitation of Fr. Ajay followed by feedbacks and vote of thanks by the teachers. The Orientation program ended on a good note with an aim of growing our students into happy, skillful and phenomenal human beings.
